My Camera Equipment, Then and Now
Reading my blog of 2012, I realised that my camera bag had changed radically in the last 5 years.
Loved the Leica cameras, but did not enjoy the cost of the film itself, processing it and then getting high quality scans.
We are currently using Fuji for 80% of our photography and only using Nikon for wildlife and aviation.
Looking forward, I suspect I will be selling off more of my Nikon equipment as more Fuji lenses appear. The arrival of the X-T2 and the 100-400 made me think it is time, but the images I have seen taken with this combo has not convinced me yet. I suspect that the D500 with 200-500 will beat it hands down when shooting wildlife and things in flight.
